Participant-first planning
Derby Days should feel shared, not imposed. The goal is to involve more people, open the week up beyond a narrow campus circle, and make participation feel inviting from the start.
Respect and dignity
Supporting a good cause should still feel respectful. Everyone involved should be treated with respect, whether they are participating, donating, or showing up to support.
